Koninderie Community Based Preschool is a community based not for profit preschool. We are governed by an elected Management Committee made up of parent and community volunteers who are the Approved Provider of the service. We work in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and with the staff to provide high quality education and care for children.

As a community based non-profit preschool, fundraising and family involvement are vital to the overall operations and viability of the service. We anticipate that all families will become involved with the preschool in some form.

An Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held each year to elect the following positions for the Management Committee:

  • President
  • Vice-President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • General Committee Members
  • Public Officer

Koninderie Management Committee

The Management Committee meets with leadership staff twice per term and is responsible for ensuring the preschool fulfils its financial and legal obligations required under the Start Strong funding guidelines. We discuss the governance of the preschool and take part in decision making in relation to the service operations.

If you think you may be interested in nominating for a position on the Management Committee or would like to find out more, please see our constitution below or contact the preschool for more information.

Alternatively, we are always looking for volunteers to take on roles with fundraising and preschool events.
