Qualified Educators
We have an early childhood degree teacher, diploma educators and a certificate III trainee. Our educators have many years of experience and are passionate about early childhood education.

Self help skills are encouraged in the 3-4 year old program with an excellent school readiness program provided to the 4-5 year olds as they prepare for their life long education.

Operating since 1967 and being not-for-profit we have an excellent selection of resources and equipment to engage the children's learning through play and intentional teaching.

Community Involved
Koninderie is parent managed and has many connections with the local community. We participate in Kidsfest, nursing home visits and encourage parent / family events at preschool.

Age 3-4
This program is to encourage the children in their self help skills. They are provided with opportunities to follow a routine as part of a group and enjoy lots of language activities.

Children learn through a variety of play based activities, intentional teaching and extending on their own interests to develop a life long love of learning.

Community Events
The preschool welcomes the community to participate in the Easter Parades, grandparents open week, Kidsfest activities, Book Week, Mother's Day and Father's Day events.

Koninderie Community Based Preschool is a community owned, not-for-profit preschool providing quality early childhood education and care for children aged 3-5 years old since 1967.

A massive thank you to you all for the many years! You have been wonderful and helped make many memories for both my boys. We truly appreciate all your dedication and efforts ensuring their preschool years to be filled with fun, good times and amazing experiences.
